SERDANG: Chery Malaysia has previewed the Tiggo Cross compact sports utility vehicle (SUV) at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025.
Also known as the Tiggo 4 in other markets, this sub-RM100,000 SUV will be arriving in two variants starting with the standard 1.5-litre turbocharged variant and a range-topping 1.5-litre (naturally aspirated) Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) which was already available in Australia.

For the first 500 customers who placed a booking, the company has given an assurance that they would receive their vehicles by August this year.
At present, what can be expected of the Tiggo Cross are 18-inch wheels with its 1.5-litre turbocharged engine producing 147PS (108kW) and 210Nm of torque and managed by a continuously variable transmission - allowing it to sprint from 0 to 100kph in 9.9 seconds.

A 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine will be used in place of a turbocharged mill.

Those interested can sign up at Chery booth and sign their interest in the SUV.
Meanwhile, Chery also previewed its flagship plugin hybrid SUVs - the Tiggo 8 PHEV and Tiggo 7 PHEV, to give consumers a look at what is to come.
