BEIJING: Chinese autonomous driving technology developer DeepRoute.ai said today it will cooperate with Qualcomm to develop "cost-effective" advanced driver assistance solutions based on Snapdragon platforms.
The solutions will cover lidar and vision-only systems and support features including urban navigation on autopilot, highway navigation and automated parking, according to a company statement.
The architecture simulates human neural network, which enables the intelligent driving systems to understand the traffic environment and the logic behind driving behaviours more naturally.
For safety, DeepRoute.ai said it has optimised its algorithms for complex lighting conditions such as strong light, low light, and backlight to "deliver core performance on par with lidar-based solutions."
