PUTRAJAYA: It wasn't unexpected. With Covid-19 cases continuing to increase, the Government's only recourse was to extend again the conditional movement control order (CMCO) in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Sabah.
It will last until Dec 31. The CMCO was supposed to end on Dec 20.
For Selangor, the order applies to all districts except for Sabak Bernam, Hulu Selangor and Kuala Selangor which has returned to recovery MCO on Dec 6.
In other states, the CMCO has also been extended to Dec 31 for the following districts: Seremban and Port Dickson districts in Negri Sembilan as well as Johor Baru, Batu Pahat and Kulai districts in Johor, said Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
