Continental expands rubber compound mixing capacity


ALOR STAR: Continental officially opened its advanced rubber compound mixing facility at its tyre plant here today.

The 3,200 square metre site would ensure Continental continue to deliver quality and performance tyre products, the company said in a statement.

The site, built at a cost of RM65mil, expands on local content and mixing capacity of the plant.

Since 1979, Continental has been making passenger tyres, light truck tyres and motorcycle tyres in Malaysia for the Asia-Pacific market.
