Cupra Tindaya showcar: World premiere at IAA Mobility 2025
By CARSIFU | 20 August 2025
BARCELONA: Cupra will unveil its Tindaya showcar concept in a world premiere at IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich in September.
The Tindaya will embody the brand’s vision and its future design language, and is named after a volcanic mountain that rises from the island of Fuerteventura, in the wild Atlantic Ocean.
Its copper-toned rock echoes the signature of Cupra, while its raw form connects with the materials and textures of the brand's design language.
The Tindaya showcar embraces its namesake’s dramatic character, with an exterior and interior design that comes alive with a radical yet simple idea: “No Drivers, No Cupra”.
Headquartered in Spain, Cupra is a marque owned by the Volkswagen Group.
Cupra was launched in 2018, and since then, has unveiled seven models and sold over 800,000 vehicles globally.
Every Cupra model is restlessly expressive, design led, and performance driven.
The portfolio includes the Cupra Ateca, the first car to ever feature the Cupra badge; the Leon, redesigned and enhanced as a standalone Cupra model; the Formentor, the first car to be developed exclusively by Cupra and the company’s best-selling vehicle to date; the Born, the brand’s first 100% electric vehicle; the Tavascan, an all-electric SUV coupe; and the Terramar, the brand’s sporty SUV.
In 2026, the Raval, the brand’s radical interpretation of the electric urban car, will join its lineup.
