HONG KONG: BYD sub-brand Denza and the Hong Kong Business Aviation Centre (HKBAC) have launched the Denza D9 all-electric luxury seven-seater MPV as the official limousine for airside transfers at Hong Kong International Airport.
HKBAC is the first operator at the airport to deploy Denza vehicles for VIP ground transport.
HKBAC will integrate the D9 into its chauffeur-driven fleet, offering electric-powered transfers alongside its enhanced terminal facilities.
This initiative aligns with the first phase of HKBAC’s terminal expansion, due to open in July, and aims to raise standards of comfort, convenience and safety for high-net-worth passengers.
The D9 is equipped with Nappa leather seating and a second-row 10-point massage function with six-way adjustable headrests.
Its cabin entertainment system features 14 speakers made by Danish audio specialist Dynaudio.
Under the bonnet, a permanent-magnet synchronous motor and BYD’s blade batteries deliver 275kW (369hp) and 470Nm of torque, achieving 0–100kph in 6.9 seconds. A suite of advanced driver-assist systems further enhances safety.
Retail pricing in Hong Kong starts at HK$598,000 (RM329,000) for the front-wheel-drive Advanced variant and HK$753,350 (RM414,000) for the all-wheel-drive Premium model.
