KUALA LUMPUR: Denza is the main and exclusive automotive sponsor of the Jacky Cheung 60+ Concert Tour in Malaysia, taking place this Aug 15 to 17, 2025 at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil.
In a statement, the premium Chinese marque said the legendary status of Jacky Cheung — the iconic Heavenly King of Cantopop — "makes him a cultural symbol of timeless artistry and
elevated performance — qualities that resonate strongly with Denza’s own brand values."
"This partnership represents Denza’s presence at the intersection of innovation and lifestyle," said the marque.
Meanwhile, the first-ever Denza and BYD Malaysia Roadshow is being held from April 29 to May 4, 2025 at The Exchange TRX KL, Centre Atrium.
The Denza D9 all-electric seven-seater multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) was launched in Malaysia in late February, and received over 800 bookings in the first week.
The first 200 cars were delivered to owners in March 2025.
The marque pointed out that across Southeast Asia, over 10,000 units of the Denza D9 have been sold to date.
To recap, the D9 is priced at RM259,000 (Advanced FWD or front wheel drive variant) and RM309,000 (Premium AWD or all-wheel drive variant).
It is offered in three exterior colour options namely Arctic White, Cosmos Black and Whale Sea Blue.
Interior colour choices are Beige and Brown.
The D9 comes with up to eight years or 160,000km warranty for the battery (state-of-health or SOH more than 70%) and up to eight years or 150,000km on its drive motor and motor controller, as well as a vehicle warranty of up to six years or 150,000km.
The D9 has a 103.6kWh LFP "Blade" battery and driving range (NEDC) is 600km (Advanced FWD variant) and 580km (Premium AWD variant).
It supports 11kW AC charging and 166kW DC fast charging.
The Advanced variant has a front electric motor producing 230kW (312PS) and 360Nm of torque.
The Premium AWD with front and rear electric motors has total system output of 275kWh (374PS)and 470Nm of torque.
The Advanced FWD variant can do the 0 to 100kph sprint in 9.5 seconds while the Premium AWD variant is quicker at 6.9 seconds.
