KUALA LUMPUR: The Denza Z9GT will make its Asia Pacific debut in Malaysia on July 15, 2026.
Following its official launch, the public will be able to view and test drive the Z9GT at all Denza Premium showrooms from July 16.
BYD Malaysia plans to progressively introduce BYD Flash Charging infrastructure across selected Denza Premium showrooms.
Customers can now register their interest here to be among the first in Malaysia to experience and own Denza's most advanced grand tourer.
At the heart of the Z9GT is the revolutionary e3 Platform, the brand’s most advanced intelligent vehicle architecture and the first of its kind in a Denza model.
Powered by a Tri-motor AWD (all wheel drive) system producing up to 850kW (1,156PS) and 1,210Nm of torque, the Z9GT accelerates from 0–100kph in just 2.7 seconds while delivering up to 701km (NEDC) of pure electric driving range.
Rear axle steering of up to 15 degrees and a class leading turning radius of just 4.62 metres enable exceptional manoeuvrability in tight urban environments, narrow streets and confined parking spaces.
Features such as e3 Parking, Crab Mode, Pencil Compass Turn and Vehicle Motion Control (VMC) further enhance agility and precision, allowing the vehicle to manoeuvre in ways conventional vehicles simply cannot.
The experience is further enhanced by the DiSUS-A Dual Chamber Air Suspension system, which continuously adjusts damping and stiffness based on road conditions.
Supporting the e3 Platform is BYD's latest second generation Blade Battery 2.0.
With a 122.49kWh battery operating on a 1,000V high voltage architecture, the Z9GT supports BYD Flash Charging Technology, enabling charging from 10% to 70% in just five minutes and from 10% to 97% in nine minutes.
The battery also delivers 5% higher energy density compared to the previous generation.
Having undergone rigorous testing, including the nail penetration test, it demonstrates outstanding thermal stability and safety assurance even under extreme conditions.
Signature elements include Dual Line LED headlamps, Hourglass taillights and Meteor Welcome Lighting.
Inside, premium materials include genuine leather and real wood trim, complemented by electrically operated doors with soft close functions, and front seats with active side bolsters for enhanced support during spirited driving.
Comfort and practicality are further elevated with dual 50W wireless charging pads for front occupants, as well as a single 50W wireless charging pad in the rear armrest, a Devialet 20-speaker premium audio system, and a large capacity compressor refrigerator with heating function.
Storage versatility includes a 495 litre rear trunk and a 53 litre front trunk.
At the centre of the cabin is an industry leading 3nm high performance processor powering the infotainment system, with Google built in.
