KUALA LUMPUR: Denza Malaysia is set to enter the luxury off-road segment with its upcoming B8 sports utility vehicle (SUV).
The B8, which will also be the brand's first plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) model, will be unveiled to the public for the first time from May 22-24 May at Main Concourse, Ground Floor, Bangsar Shopping Centre from 10am to 10pm.

The B8 comes with a Starship Mecha-inspired design language that gives a commanding road presence defined by Starship Wing LED daytime running light graphics, “Energy Thruster” inspired Tail Lamps among others.
It focuses on DMO (Dual Mode Off-Road) Super Hybrid platform, DiSus-P Intelligent Hydraulic Body Control Suspension, and a refined luxury cabin experience.
The BYD-developed DMO Super Hybrid Platform combines a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine with dual electric motors and Blade Battery technology to deliver up to 450kW and 760Nm of torque.
Unlike conventional hybrid systems focused mainly on urban efficiency, DMO is developed with real
off-road capability and long-distance performance as equal priorities.
The system also ensures instant electric response with sustained high-speed endurance while optimising fuel efficiency across varying driving conditions.
It promises up to 115km of pure electric range and a combined range of up to 1,040km both in NEDC.
Its operating modes of Pure EV, HEV Series and Parallel work seamlessly in the background, adjusting power delivery based on driving demand.
The DiSus-P Intelligent Hydraulic Body Control Suspension is engineered to continuously adapt to changing road and terrain conditions in real time.
It actively responds to uneven surfaces, rapid direction changes and varying driving conditions by managing suspension behaviour and body movement dynamically to maintain stability and comfort with minimal disruption inside the cabin.
Meanwhile, the cabin is designed around the driver, featuring a commanding seating position, available with Nappa leather for the Premium variant and a layout that prioritises ease of use.
Also included is a Devialet 18-speaker premium audio system as standard that further enhances the in-cabin experience, adding depth and immersion to long journeys and reinforcing the sense of refined luxury throughout.
