Didi Automotive takes over Royal Enfield in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Royal Enfield, one of the oldest motorcycle brands in the world, has a new caretaker in Malaysia.

Didi Automotive Sdn Bhd has been appointed as the official distributor in Malaysia, taking over from SNH Bhumi Corp Sdn Bhd with immediate effect.

Aside from Royal Enfield, Didi Automotive's sister company Didi Resources is the sole importer and distributor of the largest group of  motorcycle brands in Malaysia.

The brands include Harley-Davidson, Piaggio, Vespa, Moto Guzzi and Aprilia.

Didi Automotive and Didi Resources are part of Didi Group.

Didi Group chairman Rewi Hamid Burgo said the group is looking forward to having new Royal Enfield dealerships across Malaysia soon.
