CHIANG MAI: Ducati Asia Pacific has rolled out its latest experiential event called the Ducati Adventure Tour, in Thailand.

The Ducati Adventure Tour a six-day and 1,000km one-of-a-kind expedition will allow riders to immerse in the rich heritage and culture of Thailand while riding their DesertX motorcycles on some of the finest stretches of tarmac that exists in the country.



All participating riders will be guided by Ducati professionals and supported by the DART ASIA event team trained to deliver an excellent riding experience and will have access to lead and sweep marshals, backup vehicles, all accommodations, meals and above all, a DesertX motorcycle for each rider.

Ducati's latest DesertX is equipped with a 21-inch front wheel and 18-inch rear wheel, designed to handle even the most challenging off-road terrain.



Dedicated off-road development combined with Ducati’s road expertise has resulted in a responsive and manoeuvrable bike that is at ease on all types of trails and asphalt and is setting off-road and touring benchmarks across the world.

According to Ducati Asia Pacific website, the adventure costs THB92,000 (RM11,750) with four sessions planned this year - March 6-11, April 17-22, Oct 2-7 and Nov 20-25.



Ducati Asia Pacific vice-president (sales and marketing) Marco Biondi said:

“With hugely successful Ducati Riding Experiences like Track Days last year, we are glad to kick start another chapter in the Ducati Experience by organizing Ducati Adventure Tours for Ducatisti to experience the true essence of Thailand on board the exceptional Ducati DesertX.



“These Adventure Tours are organised keeping in mind the evolving riders, the growing interest for riding and the passion for Ducati,” he said.

DART ASIA director Sayomphu Thammarach said his organisation has specially designed this tour for the Ducati enthusiast to enjoy both the fantastic motorcycle as well as the spectacular riding routes, culture and heritage that the north of Thailand has to offer.
