Due to arrive in the first half of 2020 and in commemoration of its 25th anniversary, this limited-edition Panigale will 500 individually numbered bikes only.
The bike will sport an original livery and exclusive racing components and got its formal introduction at Pebble Beach, California, in the presence of 'King' Carl Fogarty - four-time World Superbike Championship winner with Ducati during the 1990s.
The Ducati team paid further tribute to the 916 during the 2019 Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK) race at Laguna Seca when Alvaro Bautista and Chaz Davies' bikes took to the track with a special livery inspired by the limited-edition bike.
In Europe, the Panigale V4 25˚Anniversario 916 carries a price tag of 42,500 euros (RM200,000 approx).
Based on the Panigale V4 S, it has been upgraded with racing content from the Panigale V4 R that includes the Front Frame and an STM EVO-SBK dry clutch along with more track-specific electronics such as the Ducati Quick Shift EVO 2, and 'predictive' Ducati Traction Control EVO 2.

It dons forged magnesium Marchesini Racing wheels, 0.5kg lighter Akrapovič titanium silencer with carbon fibre endcaps, racing plexiglass as well as carbon fibre components for the front and rear mudguard, heel guard, open carbon clutch cover and swinging arm cover with titanium.
More lightweight components in the form of billet aluminium are found on the bike such as the adjustable rider footpegs, articulated brake and clutch levers, racing tank cap and mirror hole covers.
Other goodies include racing handgrips, brake lever protection, Ducati Data Analyser+ Kit (DDA+) with GPS module, bike canvas with "25° Anniversario 916" customisation, number plate holder removal cover, "Shell" and "Foggy" logo stickers as well as an authenticity certificate that displays the bike's frame and engine numbers.
Power comes from a 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale engine - a 90-degree V4 motor with Desmodromic timing system (derived from the MotoGP) and counter-rotating crankshaft as well as "Twin Pulse" firing sequence - producing 214hp at 13,000rpm and 124Nm of torque at 10,000rpm and managed by a six-speed manual with a Ducati Quick Shifter EVO2.
The Ducati 916 won 120 races, eight constructors' titles and six riders' titles - four of them with Englishman ‘King’ Carl Fogarty.
