Completing the Tiguan Allspace trio in Malaysia, the Life maintains the seven-seat configurations that offer up to 1,775 litre of class-leading boot space.
Visually, the Life shares the same sharp and dynamic look as its siblings, including a sleeker front grille with the signature Volkswagen illuminated light strip between full LED headlamps.
Other elements include the ‘Allspace’ trims, silver-painted side mirrors, ‘Tiguan’ lettering on the rear, and 18-inch Frankfurt alloy wheels.
Among the standard equipment available are the 9.2-inch Discover Pro infotainment system with wireless app connect, navigation system, and voice-control, three-zone Climatronic air conditioner, and a leather multifunction sports steering wheel.
The Life is powered by a 1.4-litre TSI turbo engine delivering 150PS and 250Nm of torque paired with six-speed DSG transmission for a fuel economy of 7.7 litres per 100km.
Safety features are six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Brake Assist (BA), Multi-collision brakes, Intelligent Crash Response System (ICRS), and Electronic Parking Brake (EPB), Lane Assist and Driver Alert systems.
Both headlamps and taillights are fully powered by LED.
For added safety in any climate conditions, the headlamps include an all-weather light system and dynamic cornering light for improved visibility.
The tail light cluster with a distinctive lighting signature puts on a dazzling show (Click-clack effect) when brakes are applied.
Available metallic colours are Atlantic Blue, Platinum Grey, and Pyrite Silver, while no surcharge pearl-effect colours are Deep Black and Oryx White.
The Life comes with three years free maintenance, five years unlimited mileage warranty, and five years roadside assistance.
