F4 SEA championship finale will be heating up Sepang

KUALA LUMPUR: The Formula 4 South East Asia (F4 SEA) Championship together with official fuel and engine oil partner Petron Malaysia, will be heading to the Sepang International Circuit this weekend for a heated season finale.

From April 13 to 15, entrance to the fifth and final round of the season that comprises of six races and is free for the public to watch and support racing locals Nazim Azman, Isyraf Danish, Arsh Johanny and Armand Johanny.

“The season thus far has been competitive and we expect this final round to be even tougher as the drivers jostle for the best positions. For many of the drivers, including the Malaysians, securing strong results in the final round will be an awesome way to conclude the season," said Formula 4 SEA promoter Peter Thompson.

For the Malaysians, finishing on a high in the final round will significantly raise their confidence levels as they pursue their dreams - to be world class racing drivers.

“Apart from being the last round to create an impact this season, Nazim Azman, Isyraf Danish, Arsh Johanny and Armand Johanny will have to push themselves to the edge in their quest for success,” he added.

Nazim, along with the other Malaysian drivers, also competes in Europe and will be going up against Daniel Cao (China), Kane Shepherd (Thailand), Ugo De Wilde (Belgium) and other foreign competitors.

Petron, the oil and lubricants producer based in The Philippines, is a major partner in F4 SEA and will be supporting the Malaysian Championship Series (MCS) races this coming weekend.

“We were very excited watching the earlier rounds which were all competitive and featured high quality racing. The action will continue in the next round and it is our hope that racing fans will come out and support these young talents,” said Petron Malaysia head of retail business Faridah Ali

The F4 SEA championship exclusively uses the fuel and lubricant maker's products that include Blaze Racing Fully Synthetic engine oil and Blaze 100 RON Euro 4M, which is blended at Petron's Port Dickson refinery and launched in Malaysia in January, 2016.
