PETALING JAYA: Triumph Motorcycles Malaysia has added the new Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X to its lineup for 2024.
The Speed 400 is competitively priced at RM26,900 and Scrambler 400 X at RM29,900.
These two new models epitomise Triumph's iconic style, quality and performance.
The models also blend traditional craftsmanship with modern technology, including concealed liquid-cooling and contemporary exhaust systems.
The Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X are powered by the class-leading 400cc engine, delivering 39.5hp and 37.5Nm torque and mated to a six-speed gearbox.

Modern rider-focused technology enhances safety and performance, including ride-by-wire throttle, switchable traction control, ABS, torque-assist clutch, all-LED lighting and dual-format instrument panel.
The Speed 400 comes with a wet weight of 170kg while the Scrambler 400 X is slightly heavier at 179kg.
The tank capacity is 13 litres.
For suspension, both bikes feature 43mm diameter upside-down Big Piston forks.
The Speed 400's front suspension offers 140mm of travel, while the Scrambler provides 150mm.

At the rear, both bikes come equipped with a monoshock with remote reservoir, adjustable for preload with Speed 400 getting 130mm of travel and Scrambler 400 X having 150mm.
The Scrambler 400 X features switchable ABS, where it can be disabled for off-road use, while the Speed 400 comes with fixed ABS.
Both bikes utilise a 300mm diameter front disc brake for the Speed and a 320 mm disc for the Scrambler, with a four-piston radial-mount brake calliper.
Owners can personalise their units with over 20 genuine accessories, designed for style, comfort, luggage, and security.
These accessories are available through Triumph dealers and are covered by a two-year unlimited mileage warranty.
