The facelifted model will have a more dynamic design with the e:HEV RS variant boasting a sharper and more aggressive exterior.
This top-of-the-line variant also gets a newly designed honeycomb front grille, front lower grille and a bumper for a more aggressive appearance, including the front fog garnish.
The e:HEV RS variant also comes with a new sleek rear bumper lower garnish design, redesigned side sill garnish and Berlina Black 16-inch alloy wheels.
The RS variant is powered by the 1.5-litre e:HEV hybrid powertrain which delivers 109PS and 253Nm of torque which is the highest in its class.
Meanwhile, the 1.5-litre DOHC i-VTEC for petrol versions delivers 121PS and 145Nm of torque and uses a continuously variable transmission to deliver a balance of "fun to drive" performance and exceptional fuel efficiency.
Safety and security features have been improved in the New City Hatchback with Honda SENSING available in all variants equipped with the additional feature of Lead Car Departure Notification.
The e:HEV RS variant receives an extra feature of Low Speed Follow for more driving convenience.
Sensing
Introduced in 2021, the City Hatchback was Honda Malaysia’s second model with the e:HEV technology.
Since then, the City Hatchback e:HEV RS variant has contributed 16% to Honda Malaysia’s total hybrid sales to-date, marking a significant contribution to the Honda Malaysia's e:HEV offering expansion in the market.
Last year, Honda Malaysia sold a total of 10,300 units of City Hatchback, attaining a strong presence in the Non-National hatchback segment.
Honda Malaysia managing director and chief executive officer Hironobu Yoshimura said the City Hatchback gained instant popularity with its eye-catching design, advanced technology and practicality.
