PETALING JAYA: Honda Malaysia's 2026 refreshed City has hit the streets and can be viewed at selected areas starting today.
The early September pop-up store roadshow for the model is currently held at Dking SS2 @ Durain Wonderland in Petaling Jaya (Sept 4-6), Alamanda in Putrajaya (Sept 4), Kuala Lumpur's MyTown Shopping Centre (Sept 5) and Sunway Pyramid (Sept 6).
Only the Dking SS2 venue, which houses a 2026 City RS variant, is accessible to the public for 24 hours throughout its showcase while the other three venues will be available for viewing from 10am to 10pm.
Taking its sportiness to another level the 2026 City's exterior is defined by its new integrated headlight design with a striking full-width light bar that is standard to all variants and, for the first time on the City, the incorporation of air curtains to its redesigned front face.
The rear comes with sportier design enhancements that is given more prominence in the RS variant's visual package that comes with new 16-inch milled alloy wheels in a two-tone Berlina Black and Dark Clear finish.
Its cabin sees a new 10-inch Display Audio with Ambient Light that is complemented by a new multi-view camera system (360-degree view camera) and a Blind Spot Information with Cross Traffic Monitoring System.
Honda Sensing continues to be offered as standard across all variants, comprising a suite of advanced driver-assistance and safety technologies that includes Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Road Departure Mitigation (RDM), Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Auto High Beam (AHB), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Low Speed Follow (LSF) - on e:HEV RS variant only, and Lead Car Departure Notification (LCDN).
Customers will once again have the choice of choosing between the City's familiar petrol and hybrid powertrain options.
The 1.5L e:HEV powertrain is paired with an Electric Continuously Variable Transmission (e-CVT) to deliver 109PS and 253Nm of torque from its electric motor.
On the other hand the 1.5L DOHC i-VTEC engine paired with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) that produces 121PS and 145Nm of torque.
Honda Malaysia is offering a RM3,000 Early Bird Reward for customers who place their bookings from Aug 27 to Sept 30, 2026.
Pricing of the car has yet to be revealed though Honda Malaysia has hinted that it wouldn't stray too far from the existing pricing.
The model is now open for booking online at prebook.honda.com.my and at Honda authorised dealerships nationwide.
