PUTRAJAYA: BMW Motorrad Malaysia hosted the BMW Motorrad GS Challenge again in Putrajaya from Sept 23-24, with five participants winning a chance to go to Namibia for another round of adventure.

With over 180 attendees, the weekend festivities put riders’ off-roading skills to the test and brought together BMW Motorrad owners and enthusiasts.

The weekend’s activities had participants test their riding and navigation prowess across several individual off-road challenges as well as a "Follow the Trails" course for G 310 GS owners.

The top 10 riders from Day 1 were then selected to compete in another
round of skill tests on Day 2, as they vied for the chance to take part in the "Follow the Trails" (FTT) Tour of the International BMW GS Trophy in Namibia, which will take place in 2024.

Prizes courtesy of tyre sponsor Metzeler were also presented to the 10 finalists.

Five finalists mastered the challenge to win a spot on the FTT Namibia 2024 tour. They were Asmawi Ali, Diwaagar a/l Tambychandran, Affendy Syed Omar, Zulkifli Zainal Abidin and Azlan Shah Ahmad Suhaimi.

The 2023 BMW Motorrad GS Challenge followed on from the success of last year's event.
