Buyers of the Ranger WildTrak and XL get cash rebates of up to RM7,000 while XLT Plus buyers get savings of RM7,188.
"By offering these savings, we hope to lighten the financial load for customers,” said Syed Ahmad Muzri Syed Faiz, managing director, Sime Darby Auto ConneXion.
Customers can now request for a test drive vehicle to be delivered to their home or office, within a 10km radius of their chosen dealership.
This can be arranged by either contacting the Ford dealership nearest to them, submitting an online test drive request via the SDAC-Ford website or by messaging a Ford Digital Salesperson via WhatsApp at 0192041200.
The Digital Salesperson can answer queries including stock availability, loan financing options, road tax and vehicle registration fees as well as insurance options.
Buyers can also visit the Ford flagship facility at Sime Darby Motors City at Ara Damansara.
"Customers can rest assured that the necessary safety precautions are in place, including social distancing, temperature checks, supply of hand sanitiser dispensers and frequent sanitisation of high frequency touchpoints” said Jeffrey Gan, managing director for retail and distribution, Malaysia, Sime Darby Motors.
The Ford Ranger WildTrak has a 2.0L Bi-Turbo engine mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission, delivering 213ps and 500Nm of torque.
The Ranger XLT Plus features the 2.0L Single-Turbo that produces 180ps and 420Nm of torque, and has convenience features such as keyless entry with push-start-button and the Easy Lift Tailgate.
The Ranger XL makes light work of any challenge, with a 1,000kg payload and 3,500kg towing capacity.
