ARA DAMANSARA: The Ford Mobile Service (FMS) will deliver maintenance and light repair services directly to customers’ doorsteps.
Introduced by Sime Darby Auto ConneXion-Ford (Auto ConneXion), the sole distributor of Ford vehicles in Malaysia, the FMS recently kicked off with a pilot programme at the Ford Ara Damansara dealership.
The FMS enables customers to book Ford-certified technicians to carry out a range of essential maintenance services at their preferred time and location.
These services include engine oil changes, multipoint inspections, battery replacements and wiper and filter changes.
All services are performed using genuine Ford parts and manufacturer-approved tools.
Auto ConneXion-Ford managing director Turse Zuhair said, “This initiative enables customers to access professional care for their vehicles with the same confidence they would expect at a dealership."
The FMS operates from Monday to Friday, offering four service slots from 9am to 3:30pm, and Saturday with two service slots from 9am to 11am.
A fixed call-out fee will be applied to locations within a 20km radius of Ford Ara Damansara, with additional charges for distances beyond the area.
Starting in June, customers can book appointments through the SDM OneGo app, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
The app enables users to schedule appointments, select preferred times and service locations, and manage bookings with ease.
Alternatively, customers can also book appointments through Ford Ara Damansara's customer service hotline at 03-7621 5111.
Auto ConneXion is introducing an exclusive limited-time offer on the standard call-out fee, available once appointments are open for booking.
Following its debut at the Ford Ara Damansara showroom, Auto ConneXion plans to progressively expand the FMS to additional Ford dealerships nationwide.
