Free home rooftop solar panel deal worth RM20K for selected BMW cars

PENANG: Tian Siang Premium Auto, the largest BMW dealer representative in Perak and Penang, is partnering solar panel technology company Tera VA Sdn Bhd (Vasolar) in offering home charging deals to electric vehicle (EV) owners.

Buyers of selected BMW EVs and plug-in hybrids (PHEVs) can get a free 4.4 kWp rooftop solar panel worth RM20,000 under a special offer by Tian Siang Premium Auto, which is available until Sept 30, 2023.

The complimentary offering – installed by Vasolar, comes with a 25-year performance warranty, 12-year photovoltaic (PV) module warranty, 10-year inverter warranty, and 3-year workmanship warranty.

Vasolar, a subsidiary company of Boilermech Holdings Bhd, specialises in the field of solar energy for residential homes, commercial buildings, and industrial factories.

In the same vein, BMW Group Malaysia has also made over 1,000 charging facilities available in its network thus far.

Access to over 400 of these facilities provided are through partnerships with ChargEV and Yinson Greentech, while the partnership with JomCharge enables access to over 100 charging facilities, Gentari with over 150 facilities as well as 160 facilities from new partners such as Shell Recharge with ParkEasy, ChargeN’Go, ChargeSini, Go To-U and FlexiParking.

Over 100 BMW i and MINI charging facilities are also available at most authorised dealerships, as well as partnering venues across the country, with more to come as part of the strategic infrastructure expansion plan set for the year ahead.
