Fresh colours and even more individual entertainment for Mercedes C-Class and GLC

STUTTGART: Mercedes-Benz has upgraded its best-selling C-Class and GLC models with enhanced intelligence and personalisation features.

Both models now come with the latest-generation MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) infotainment system, offering fast 5G data transmission and interactive entertainment.

The system uses artificial intelligence to adapt convenience functions to individual preferences.

New color options include Manufaktur alpine grey uni for both models and verde silver metallic for the GLC.

In addition, a leather-free steering wheel cover is available, making a fully leather-free interior an option.

These models can be ordered from authorised dealers in Germany or online, with prices starting at €47,730.90 (RM245,000) for the C-Class saloon and €59,809.40 (RM306,000) for the GLC SUV.

The updated MBUX system supports third-party apps, available through the MBUX Entertainment Package Plus, part of the optional Premium Plus Package.

This package includes Internet radio, music streaming, video streaming, and a data package from a selected provider.

The apps can be downloaded from the Mercedes me Store, and the main icons on the central display are redesigned for easier use. The Burmester 3D surround sound system with Dolby Atmos is also included, offering high-quality audio.

Artificial intelligence in MBUX allows for personalised convenience functions with automated routines.

Templates like “Cold Days” and “Date Night” can automatically adjust settings such as seat heating and ambient lighting.

Users can also create custom routines by linking multiple functions and conditions.

The GLC models now feature a digital vehicle key, enabling drivers to lock, unlock, and start their vehicles using a compatible device.

Key sharing with up to 16 people is possible, with pre-installation for the digital key included in the Keyless-Go system where Mercedes me connect services are available.
