KUALA LUMPUR: The refreshed GAC GS3 Emzoom brings minor design enhancements, reinforcing its appeal as one of the most engaging and performance driven SUVs (sport utility vehicle) in its segment.
The latest update includes a redesigned Flowing Diamond Star front grille and a new two-tone exterior option for the Premium R variant.
The Emzoom is offered in four colour options: Graphite Grey with Black Roof, Super Star Silver with Black Roof, Frost White with Black Roof, and Asphalt Black.
Pricing remains unchanged, from RM116,800 for the Exclusive variant and RM126,800 for the Premium R variant (Peninsular Malaysia, on-the-road without insurance).
For a limited time, customers can enjoy rebates of up to RM18,500, with monthly instalments from as low as RM912.
The Emzoom comes with a five-year/150,000km vehicle warranty, along with a seven-year/180,000km engine and transmission warranty.
“We have seen strong interest in the EMZOOM among Malaysians, particularly for its balance of performance, features, and value,” said WTC Automotif (M) Sdn Bhd chief operating officer Loh Ling Howe.
“This refresh enhances its visual appeal while maintaining the core strength of sportiness that have made it a popular choice in its segment.”
The Emzoom has a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine producing 177PS and 270Nm of torque, paired with a seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission.
It offers a 0–100kph time of eight seconds and fuel consumption rated at 5.9 litres per 100km.
The Emzoom has features such as a digital cockpit with dual screens, panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Full Automatic Parking Assist (FAPA).
The Premium R variant also includes a switchable sports exhaust system and Aero kit for a more sporty and engaging drive.
