BEIJING: The all-electric GAC Honda P7 mid-size SUV (sport utility vehicle) is expected to be launched by end-March 2025, and will feature an upgraded Honda Sensing 360+ safety suite, according to Autohome.
The Autohome article added that the P7 is fitted with headrest speakers and a wireless charger.
Meanwhile, a Carnewschina article noted that GAC Honda will offer the P7 with either a single (2WD) or twin motor (AWD) configuration.
The former features a single, rear-mounted electric motor that outputs 200kW (268hp), while the latter gets an additional front-mounted electric motor for a combined output of 350kW (469hp).
The Honda P7 is powered by an 89.9kWh CATL-sourced battery pack, which allows for a CLTC-rated range of 650km (2WD).
The AWD version’s range is marginally lower, reaching 620km, said the Carnewschina article.
Carnewschina also pointed out that the P7 has a large 12.8-inch infotainment display, and it replaces traditional side mirrors with side-view cameras.
The digital side-view cameras feed live footage to screens positioned at the top edge of the door panels.
