KUALA LUMPUR: Continental Tyre Malaysia has officially launched the General Tire brand in the Malaysian replacement market, for passenger cars, SUVs (sport utility vehicles), MPVs (multi-purpose vehicles) and 4x4 pick-ups.
General Tire has over 100 years of heritage and became a part of Continental in 1987 as a sub-brand.
General Tire’s product range, tailored for Malaysian drivers, includes Altimax GC5 (14 and 15-inch) and GS6 (15 to 19-inch), as well as Grabber AT6 (16 to 18-inch) and HT6 (16 to 20-inch).
The Altimax GC5 tyre offers low noise, comfort and fuel efficiency while the GS6 is said to deliver a quiet drive, strong grip, shorter braking distances, and longer tread life.
The Grabber AT6 offers robust off-road handling, and low noise while the HT6 is said to deliver excellent wet braking, comfort, and longevity.

The tyres will be available through authorised Continental dealers nationwide, as well as via Continental official stores on Shopee, TNG eWallet, and Lazada.
