KUALA LUMPUR: Local parking application Parkit is now available at the Sunway chain of shopping centres.
Parkit enables drivers to get seasonal parking passes at the Sunway shopping centres across the Klang Valley.
It can now be used at Sunway Pyramid, Sunway Carnival Mall, Sunway Velocity Mall, Sunway Putra Mall and Sunway Giza Mall.
Drivers have to download the app, search for any of the selected malls and choose their preferred seasonal passes for each one.
With a starting seasonal parking rate at RM140, drivers are guaranteed a parking bay in the chosen mall year-round.
“This partnership with Parkit is ideal for those in the vicinity of our malls, are frequent shoppers or just want a good deal. This collaboration is another one of our steps to innovate the way in which we approach the shopping and mall experience throughout Malaysia,” said Sunway Malls & Theme Parks CEO H.C. Chan.
Payment is cashless, with auto-debit available for both debit and credit cards.
To promote the partnership, users who sign up to use the Parkit app will be given shopping and dining vouchers for use at the respective malls.
ParkIt was formed in 2016 as a peer-to-peer platform that allows car park owners be it individual owners, property developers, property management companies, or commercial car park operators to list their car parks online.
In turn, anybody looking for parking can search, book, pay and park online.
