Car dash cameras are considered a must-have feature nowadays, as they can capture footage of road mishaps which serve as evidence in disputing as to who is at fault.
South Korean brand GNet has been designing and manufacturing dash cameras (or dashcams) since 1998, with operations at the company's head office in Seoul, and its factory in Hwaseong city, Gyeonggi Province.
"We have a solid reputation for designing class-leading recording systems that are durable and robust. We design, research and develop, test and manufacture the products ourselves, which differentiate us from many other dashcam brands. With in-house manufacturing, we have better control regarding production quality," said G-Net System Co Ltd (Gnet) general manager (overseas business) Martin Koo.
Koo said the company exports GNet dash cams and related accessories to markets such as the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and Singapore.
In Malaysia, VozAudio (M) Sdn Bhd is the exclusive distributor for GNet dash cams while its sister company VozAudio (MS) Pte Ltd is also a distributor in Singapore.
A bestseller is the GNet G-ONX 1080P FHD two-channel car dashcam (front and rear cameras, and cable and 32GB SD card).
The GNet G-ONX car dashcam offers a high-definition Sony Starvis sensor, HDR night vision function, 30fps/H.264 video compression, external GPS (synchronise with Google Maps, keep track of location and speed), wide viewing angle lens, as well as memory card automatic recovery and self-formatting.
ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) features provided by the GNet G-ONX are Front Vehicle Start Alarm (FVSA), Forward Collision Warning system (FCWS) and Lane Departure Warning system (LDWS).

GNet provides product warranties that range from one to two years.

Doorstep installation is also available for selected GNet products in some areas in the Klang Valley.
