KUALA LUMPUR: GoCar Mobility and drivEV recently teamed up to organise a showcase at a KL Car-Free Morning (KLCFM) event on a Sunday.
The GoCar x drivEV partnership at KLCFM held at KL City Centre had showcased a shared vision to make electric vehicles (EVs) more accessible.
GoCar Mobility is a leading car sharing and mobility platform while drivEV is the EV leasing business of Yinson GreenTech.
Activities at the GoCar x drivEV zone included a showcase of the GoEV models, a GoCar app sign-up zone, and interactive games like the Wheel of Fortune and EV quizzes to receive GoCar merchandise and eco-friendly goodies.
Also, a recycle station encouraged sustainability through bottle exchanges for tokens, complemented by a Juice Bar and an Experience Wall for photo opportunities.
KLCFM also provided a platform to raise public awareness and promote EV adoption, spotlighting models like the Ora Good Cat and Aion Y Plus, plus attractive promotional offers.
A highlight was the promotional offer providing 50% off (capped at RM80) on all GoCar EVs.
This offer, using the promo code JOMEVKL (minimum 1-day booking), was available for bookings made from June 22 until July 22, 2025, with a traveling period valid until September 30, 2025, and saw positive uptake.
A range of EV options are available on the GoCar mobile app including the Aion Y Plus, Ora Good Cat, Nissan Leaf and Renault Zoe, and the app offers hourly and daily rentals.
