SYDNEY: GWM has debuted the Haval H7 mid-size SUV (sport utility vehicle) at this weekend’s Everything Electric Sydney.
The H7 will go on sale in mid-October 2026, and is set to sit alongside the H6, H6GT and soon-to-be-released Jolion Max.
The H7 has a bold, boxy exterior design as well as upright proportions, strong body lines and rugged design cues.
Customers can choose between hybrid and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variants, both featuring GWM’s innovative Hi4 technology.
Designed to combine efficiency and performance with intelligent all-wheel-drive (AWD) capability, Hi4 provides the H7 with the versatility to perform across a broad range of driving conditions, both on-road and off.

GWM Australia and New Zealand head of marketing and communications Steve Maciver said, "The all-new Haval H7 is an exciting addition to our Australian line-up and brings something genuinely different to the mid-size SUV segment."
“We see a real opportunity for the H7 in Australia. As well as being loaded with the latest technology, including Hi4, it broadens the appeal of the Haval range.”
Final Australian specification, powertrain details, model grades and final pricing will be announced in the coming weeks.
