KUALA LUMPUR: The GWM Haval H6 HEV (hybrid electric vehicle) is now officially listed in the Asean Records for achieving the longest single-tank distance and most verified owners exceeding 1,000km, all under real-world driving conditions.
In a statement, GWM Malaysia said the Haval H6 HEV is the first hybrid SUV (sport utility vehicle) in Asean to achieve the longest verified real-world driving distance.
As part of a nationwide fuel endurance challenge, 38 Haval H6 HEV owners had successfully exceeded the 1,000km mark, with the longest verified distance reaching 1,242km on a single tank.
"This marks the first time a hybrid SUV in Asean has accomplished such a feat through genuine, everyday usage," noted GWM Malaysia managing director Cui Anqi.
“This isn’t just a technical breakthrough, it’s a real-world endorsement of how far the Haval H6 HEV can take Malaysians,” he said.
To celebrate this record-setting moment, GWM Malaysia has introduced a new brand line for the Haval H6 HEV — “Elevate Your Everyday.”
