KUALA LUMPUR: Great Wall Motor (GWM) Malaysia is holding a free car wash campaign in celebration of its third anniversary.
“The Great Wash for Malaysia” campaign was done as a symbolic gesture of car care and will run until Nov 30 from 10.00am to 10.00pm at Plaza Arkadia, Desa Parkcity.
The initiative offers up 100 complimentary car washes daily together with Touch ’n Go RFID cards, free on-site fitment and a refreshment coupon for every participant.
Attendees will also get to test drive a range of available GWM Malaysia vehicles.
“It (the campaign) is open to all Malaysian drivers, regardless of vehicle brand. It also recognises our growing GWM owner community and their continued support,” said GWM Malaysia chief operating officer Roslan Abdullah.
Roslan explained that a car wash is one of the most relatable acts of care for Malaysians who take pride in their vehicles.
In essence the act according to Roslan is a simple but thoughtful gesture of appreciation to Malaysian drivers for their trust and support since 2022.
"Rather than a grand or extravagant celebration we decided upon one that is a sincere, community-focused activation," said Roslan.
Adding to that is how a car wash is symbolic of renewal, care and preparing for future journeys.
"It reflects our "Go With More" ethos of more care, connection and meaningful experiences, while reinforcing our philosophy of all powertrains, scenarios and users.
“Just as every wash prepares a vehicle for its next journey, The Great Wash for Malaysia marks our readiness to begin a new chapter with Malaysians.
“We look forward to bringing more innovation, more care and more meaningful engagement in the years ahead,” he added.
GWM Malaysia is set to introduce its upcoming Hi4 intelligent hybrid system which is a key feature in future models such as the WEY G9 that will enter the market early next year.
