GWM Malaysia hits a record-breaking first half

KUALA LUMPUR: In the second half of 2025, GWM Malaysia will launch two new cars that are aimed at expanding its presence in the premium and performance segments.

These include a sportier, high-performance twist on a popular electric hatchback, said the company.

Also, GWM Malaysia has expanded its network from 18 outlets in early 2024 to 26 by mid-2025, with plans to reach 35 outlets by year-end.

The company said this expansion enhances accessibility for customers, while reinforcing GWM's commitment to a robust aftersales ecosystem.

GWM Malaysia also achieved a record-breaking first half in 2025, surpassing its total sales for the entire year of 2024 in just six months.

This represents a 20.3% increase over the previous half-year.

"This isn't just about numbers; it's about momentum and meaning," said GWM Malaysia chief operating officer Roslan Abdullah.

"Our growth shows that Malaysians are embracing our vision of cars that combine innovation, value, and relevance to their everyday lives."

Meanwhile, the Haval H6 hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) credentials are backed by real-world results.

It was recently validated in an independent fuel efficiency contest and recognised by the Asean Book of Records as the first hybrid SUV in Asean to achieve the longest verified real-world driving distance.

GWM is now offering a limited-time promotion on the Haval H6 HEV, which includes RM6,600 worth of savings and an upgraded 10-Year HEV battery warranty.

This enhanced warranty is also extended to existing H6 HEV owners.
