GWM Malaysia renews partnership with Malayan Xpedition for 2026

KUALA LUMPUR: GWM Malaysia renews its partnership with Malayan Xpedition this year as part of the brand's continued mission to build confidence through real-world experiences.

Under the renewed collaboration - through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing at PARC Subang recently, GWM Malaysia will sponsor Malayan Xpedition 2026 and support the organisers in bringing the adventure to life.

GWM Malaysia will also subsidise participation fees for eligible GWM Tank 300 and Tank 500 owners to enable more members of the community to join the expedition at a special rate.

The partnership builds upon the successful collaboration between the two which began last year by giving Tank 300 and Tank 500 owners the opportunity to experience their vehicles in genuine off-road conditions.

Its aim is to bring together a sense of exploration, teamwork, responsible driving and respect for the environment through a multi-day overland adventure.

“At GWM Malaysia, we believe ownership should go beyond receiving the keys to a vehicle. We want to give our customers meaningful opportunities to experience, enjoy and build greater confidence in their vehicles,” said GWM Malaysia chief operating officer Roslan Abdullah.

“Malayan Xpedition gives us the right platform to bring this belief to life. Instead of simply telling owners what their vehicles can do, we give them the opportunity to experience those capabilities for themselves,” he added.

Aside from that, GWM Malaysia is currently running a nationwide customer campaign from now until Sept 30 in conjunction with Merdeka and Hari Malaysia.

Customers who book and register a new GWM vehicle during the campaign period stand a chance to be among six winners receiving up to RM1,000 each in toll cashback.

Limited-time savings of up to RM30,000 on selected models are also available throughout August, together with five years of free service maintenance with every new GWM vehicle purchased. Terms and conditions apply.
