SERDANG: After much pre-launch teasing, GWM Malaysia has rolled out the Tank 500 HEV priced at RM328,800.
The luxury seven-seater sports utility vehicle (SUV) also comes with lifetime warranty on engine, transmission and hybrid system exclusively for first-hand private owners.
Also offered are 8 years/200,000km warranty for power battery and 6 years/unlimited mileage warranty for vehicle.
For the first 100 owners, they will get a limited edition premium gift set along with a 5 -year free maintenance package.
Powering the Tank 500 is a 2.0-litre turbocharged hybrid engine delivering a total output 346PS and 648Nm of torque mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission.
Engineered to take on all terrains with confidence, the Tank 500's Intelligent All-Terrain System comes with 11 selectable driving modes, among them Tank Turn and Off-road Cruise Control.
The Tank 500 also gets a transparent chassis view, electric side steps and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
Among the key features are six airbags, 360-degree Surrounding Camera, Integration Intelligent Parking (IIP), Auto Reversing Assistance (ARA), Adaptive Cruise Control with Intelligent Cornering (Intelligent ACC) and Traffic Jam Assist (TJA) and 20-inch alloy wheels.
Standard items are Auto Emergency Braking + Intersection (AEBI), Front Cross Traffic Alert (FCTA), Front Cross Traffic Braking (FCTB), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), Rear Cross Traffic Braking (RCTB), Front Collision Warning (FCW), Manoeuvre Emergency Braking (MEB), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Lane Centre Keeping (LCK), Emergency Lane Keeping (ELK) and Wisdom Dodge System (WDS).
Also included are LED front and rear lights, 12.3-inch Digital Information Display, 14.6-inch Touch Screen Multimedia Display, 12-speaker Premium Infinity Sound System, Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, speed sensitive volume control, Smart Key and Push Start System, Auto Dimming Rearview Mirror, Electric Panoramic Sunroof, and seats with Nappa and synthetic leather among others.
Colours are Crystal Grey, Hamilton White and Sun Black.
