KUALA LUMPUR: Harley-Davidson Malaysia has officially unveiled its highly anticipated 2026 Liberty Edition Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection.
The exclusive, limited-run lineup was revealed recently during the official Reception to Celebrate 250 Years of Independence of the United States of America, hosted at the Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur.
A dedicated celebratory ride of 25 Harley Owners Group (HOG) members rode in an immaculate convoy straight to the event.
Cloaked in an exclusive factory finish, this collection directly connects modern riders to a historic visual legacy.
The 2026 Liberty Edition serves as a modern reinterpretation of the Motor Company’s famous 1976 Bicentennial Liberty Edition models — originally envisioned by Willie G. Davidson and artist Paul Smith.
The collection pays homage to Harley-Davidson's deep-rooted history through meticulous craftsmanship and custom, theme-specific styling elements straight from the factory.
Key aesthetic treatments featured across the collection include:
- Midnight Ember Paint: A premium metallic base coat that sets a dark, striking tone for the entire profile of the motorcycles.
- Liberty Eagle Graphics: Bold, stylized eagle and "Number One" iconography emblazoned across the fuel tank and bodywork, inspired by the original 1976 Paul Smith artwork.
- Patriotic Accents & Premium Stitching: Clean, commemorative red-white-and-blue accent stitching on the seating material alongside an embroidered Bar & Shield logo.
- The #1 Medallion: The fuel tank acts as the centerpiece of the look, anchored by a dedicated anniversary tank medallion.
- Exclusive Component Inserts: Custom Liberty Edition script and graphics distinctly mark the powertrain’s air cleaner and derby cover inserts.
- Celebratory Windshield Glow: Select models feature a distinctive, subtle tinted windshield that echoes the classic commemorative spirit of vintage celebratory editions.
The 2026 Liberty Edition package will be offered in strictly limited production runs across three distinct platforms within the Harley-Davidson portfolio:
- Street Glide Liberty Edition – Bringing a heritage-driven aesthetic to the Grand American Touring platform, equipped with the signature Batwing fairing, a liquid-cooled Milwaukee-Eight 117 powertrain, and a 12.3-inch TFT display running Skyline OS. Prices starting from RM205,000.
- Heritage Classic Liberty Edition – Embracing the vintage silhouette of the iconic cruiser category, featuring a detachable windshield, hard-shell lockable saddlebags wrapped in custom graphic treatments, and advanced Cornering Rider Safety Enhancements. Prices starting from RM159,000.
- Street Glide 3 Limited Liberty Edition – Introducing a premium three-wheel long-haul touring platform, powered by a high-output Milwaukee-Eight VVT powertrain and complete with a fully re-engineered chassis, a Grand Tour-Pak with integrated speaker pods, and heated rider and passenger seats. Prices starting from RM390,000.
As part of Harley-Davidson’s ongoing Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection, the 2026 Liberty Edition motorcycles are serialised, limited-run pieces built for collectors and everyday riders alike.
