Hella teams up with auto2u.my to promote its first LED headlight bulb

KUALA LUMPUR: German automotive lighting company Hella has unveiled its first LED bulb product for car headlights.

The launch of the Hella Retrofit LED headlight bulb is exclusively carried out together with auto2u.my, a Malaysian automotive e-commerce marketplace dedicated for everyday car owners.

This exclusivity allows customers to be the first to buy the new bulb
through the website auto2u.my, before it is available on any other e-commerce platforms.

Customers will also enjoy a 25% discount along with free gifts worth RM89 by using the promo code “AUTO2U25“ during the Hella pre-launch sales from today until Sept 22.

The bulb is developed for plug-and-play installation.

It is designed to be affordable, reduces power consumption while being long-lasting. On paper, the bulb is said to be able to last up to 50,000 hours at 6,500K output.

The design of the bulb is based on the halogen bulb socket, which covers almost 80% to 90% of the cars on the market.

With a colour temperature of 6,500K, the bulb projects a brighter and whiter light output.

The bulb has a built-in fan and driver that allows for cooling. Hella claimed the light projected has a good cutting point that results in a focused and non-glaring light output.

Additionally, the bulb also offers an optional CANbus adapter for cars that require a CANbus.

Hella also produces traditional halogen lightbulbs, spotlights, wipers, and horns for vehicles.
