Hino comes to aid of customers

KUALA LUMPUR: Hino Motors Sales (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (HMSM) is offering flood relief assistance to all Hino customers affected by devastating floods arising from heavy rainfall over the past few days.

The flood relief assistance is aimed at alleviating the difficulties that may be faced by Hino customers where there were vehicles stranded in flood and required immediate services.

Available nationwide, this assistance programme started on Dec 21 until further notice.

HMSM managing director Atsushi Uchiyama said trucks and buses are among the most essential infrastructure of transportation to deliver goods and transporting people.

“Hence we see our customer’s operation is not only important to us but to society as well.

“HMSM will give our best support through the most efficient and reliable way. It is also our commitment to helping relieve some of the burden faced by our customers during this natural disaster by listening and understanding the need of our customers and responding to them immediately”, he said.

HMSM is providing free inspection to all affected customers at Hino authorised service centres, and if required, Hino technical team will attend to customer’s place and provide the services.


On the relief assistance initiative, affected customers are eligible to claim towing service subsidies up to RM500 at all nearest Hino authorised service centres with terms and conditions apply.

Also, customers can enjoy up to 50% discount on selected Hino genuine parts and 20% off for labour services.
