PETALING JAYA: Honda Malaysia has announced the price of the all-new City Hatchback RS e:HEV hybrid variant at RM107,783, on-the-road without insurance and SST.

The City Hatchback RS e:HEV was launched in Dec 7 last year alongside three petrol-powered variants of S, E and V priced at RM75,670, RM83,080 and RM87,860 respectively.

The top-of-the-range City RS e:HEV comes with the sporty RS embellishment such as gloss black front grille, solid wing and door mirrors for a two-toned body colour expression.

The flagship variant also gets red-stitched Ultrasuede seats, tailgate spoiler, rear air conditioner vents, 16-inch alloy wheels and its exclusive-styled lower grille, fog lamp garnish and rear bumper to differentiate it from other City Hatchback variants.

In addition, the City Hatchback RS:eHEV also comes with the Honda Sensing suite of driving aids, Honda LaneWatch camera system and Honda Connect advanced telematics system.

The City Hatchback e:HEV's key attraction is the Sports intelligent Multi-Mode Drive (i-MMD) powertrain system that delivers delivers 109PS and segment leading 253Nm of torque.



The powertrain consists of a 1.5-litre Atkinson cycle petrol engine coupled to an Electric Continuous Variable Transmission (e-CVT) and an advanced two-motor hybrid system to return a low fuel consumption of 3.6 litres per 100km.

“We launched the all-new City Hatchback in December 2021 and the response from Malaysians have been overwhelming. To-date, we have collected more than 5,200 bookings,” Honda Malaysia managing director and chief executive officer Madoka Chujo.
