PETALING JAYA: Three Honda hybrid owners recently share how Honda’s electrified technology has become a seamless part of their everyday lives.
Their experiences demonstrate how Honda’s e:HEV technology delivers fuel efficiency, responsive performance, comfort and practicality without changing the way Malaysians drive.
For Shangkari Kumaran, her City e:HEV's quietness, comfort and stability have also made her long-distance journeys more enjoyable.
With her previous Honda City, she used to spend more than RM200 a month on fuel.
Today her monthly fuel expenses are around RM150 or slightly more.
“After two years without any major issues, I feel very satisfied with how reliable and fuel-efficient it has been,” said Shangkari.
She also appreciates the convenience of being able to check her vehicle’s location through Honda Connect.
Meanwhile, Mohamad Sabri Hassan says his Civic e:HEV RS enables him to travel more than twice the distance on a full tank compared to his previous vehicle, typically achieving around 720km to 800km.
“The Civic e:HEV is quiet, powerful and smooth. Its pickup feels more responsive than a conventional CVT car, especially in the city,” said Sabri.
Sabri also values the digital meter display and Honda Sensing driver-assistive technologies, with the driver-assistive features giving him added confidence.
As for Lionel Soon Pow Yik, the CR-V e:HEV RS offers the versatility his family needs while providing fuel efficiency.
“For me, it is the best balance of power, economy and practicality. There is enough torque and acceleration when I need to overtake, yet I do not have to refuel as often. The space works very well for my family, and my daughter loves being able to bring her friends along,” said Lionel.
He also appreciates the digital meter design and Bose sound system.
