Honda Malaysia offers limited-run WR-V RS and City V Special Edition
By CARSIFU | 13 September 2024PETALING JAYA: Honda Malaysia has introduced a special edition for two of its sought-after models – the WR-V sports utility vehicle and City sedan.
Only 99 units of each special edition variants will be available.
The WR-V RS Special Edition gets Special Edition emblems and front, side and rear under spoilers.
The special edition is also fitted with a front Honda Digital Video Recorder (DVR), an Exhaust Pipe Finisher, a Rear Panel Lining Cover and Rear Step Garnishes.
The WR-V RS Special Edition is available for viewing in Honda showrooms.
To date, more than 13,400 units of the WR-V have been sold with the RS variant accounting for 53% of of the uptake.
The WR-V Special Edition is available in Stellar Diamond Pearl colour and retails at RM107,900 (on-the-road without insurance).
The RS variant is equipped with Honda Sensing and has been tested by Asean NCAP and delivered an impressive five-star safety rating.
Meanwhile, the City V Special Edition will get a refreshed exterior featuring Front, Side and Rear Under Spoilers, along with a Special Edition emblem.
The model will be further enhanced with a front DVR to capture real-time driving conditions, a Foot Light, stylish Side Step Garnishes and a Trunk Tray for added convenience.
The City V variant already has notable features such as eight speakers, 60:40 Split Rear Seat configuration, 519 litres of cargo space, six airbags, advanced Honda Sensing with eight safety features and Walk Away Auto Lock.
Since its debut in Malaysia in 2001, the City has become Malaysians’ favourite B-segment sedan with more than 450,000 units sold.
Through the years, the City has undergone multiple redesigns and upgrades, and it is now in its fifth generation.
The facelifted City was introduced in August last year and has sold more than 26,200 units to date.
The City V Special Edition is available at RM94,900 with an additional RM300 surcharge for the Platinum White Pearl colour.
It will be available for viewing at the end of September.
