KUALA LUMPUR: Honda Malaysia looks to strengthen its market position for the year with the launch of six new models.
No names have been indicated though the company has hinted at the arrival of the Prelude with the local introduction of the S+ Shift technology.
This also coincides with Honda's plan to continue expanding its local hybrid (e:HEV) lineup.
A camouflaged Honda Super-One has also been spotted in Malaysia since last year, fueling credence that its entry is eventual.

Honda Malaysia managing director and chief executive officer Narushi Yazaki said the "Fun to Drive" spirit reflects the company's commitment to delivering vehicles that connect with its customers at an emotional level.
"We want to emphasise that a Honda is more than just a mode of transport. It is about the instant connection people feel the moment they step inside; the joy created by the driving feel that comes naturally every time they take the wheel.
"These emotions are what Honda has engineered into every model from the very beginning.
"The introduction of the S+ Shift technology for the first time is a clear example of this direction in action. It enhances driver engagement and makes each journey more dynamic and rewarding, showing how Honda does it differently, for everyone who loves to drive," Yazaki added.
In addition to the launches, Honda Malaysia said it would focus on strengthening its dealership operations as well as placing greater focus on enhancing both sales and after-sales services.
They are confident they'll achieve their 2026 baseline target of 60,000 units - a more modest figure over their 72,301 units sold in 2025 as they focus on maintaining their lead in the Non-National Passenger Vehicle Segment for a 13th consecutive year.
