Nikkei also said the Clarity, Legend and Odyssey were all assembled at the Sayama plant near Tokyo, which is slated to close in the fiscal year ending March 2022.

Sales of Clarify is said to be severely affected by the lack hydrogen refilling station networks, while the Legend which is currently available in hybrid version, sold only 216 units last year.

The Odyssey, which once a popular and trailblazing MPV, has been losing ground to the resurgent Toyota Alphard and other similar priced MPVs.
