Hong Leong Yamaha aftersales network expands to 300 centres

SUNGAI BULOH: Hong Leong Yamaha Motor (HLYM) has hit a milestone with 300 service centres, making it the brand with the largest motorcycle aftersales network in the country.

Aside from the large network, the company said its Yamaha Quality Service (YQS) centres also deliver professional and seamless services through the use of Yamaha genuine parts, staffed by certified Yamaha mechanics and equipped with Yamaha's latest diagnostic and specialised servicing tools.

It said Yamaha genuine parts are engineered to motorcycle maker's exact specifications for optimum performance, durability and reliability.

It said every genuine part is backed by Yamaha's Factory Warranty, while Yamalube lubricants can be authenticated instantly by scanning the QR code on every bottle.

Motorcycles are serviced by Yamaha-certified mechanics who are specially trained to understand the unique specifications and maintenance requirements of Yamaha motorcycles.

Each centre has at least one Silver standard mechanic, supported by trained Bronze standard mechanics, while the Chief Mechanic is certified after advanced training at the Global Yamaha Certified Training Academy (YTA).

The use of Yamaha's latest diagnostic and specialised servicing equipment at all YQS centres will deliver fast, accurate and efficient diagnostics, enabling technicians to identify issues quickly and provide quality maintenance with minimal downtime.
