KUCHING: The latest Hyundai Kuching 3S (sales, service and spare parts) outlet was recently opened by Hyundai Motor Malaysia (HMY), in partnership with Heng Lian Enterprise Bhd.
The new outlet marks a key milestone in HMY’s nationwide expansion strategy to achieve 25 outlets by end-2026, in line with its brand promise "Sentiasa di sisi anda".
“Hyundai Kuching is more than just a new outlet – it represents our commitment to East Malaysia, a region that’s vital to our growth and to the Hyundai community nationwide," said Hyundai Motor Malaysia managing director Jahabarnisa Haja Mohideen.
“When we embarked on this project, our objective was clear — to create a place where customers can experience the Hyundai brand with confidence, convenience, and peace of mind. Whether they are purchasing their first Hyundai vehicle or returning for aftersales service, we want every visit to be professional, comfortable, and memorable,” said Heng Lian Enterprise dealer principal Sylvia Ng.
The official opening event was officiated by Kuching South City Council (MBKS) mayor Datuk Wee Hong Seng.
With a built-up of 7,500 sq ft, the new facility houses Hyundai’s full core lineup including the Santa Fe, Tucson and Staria.
Additionally, customers in East Malaysia will now have direct access to the recently launched Hyundai N high-performance sub-brand, with Heng Lian Enterprise Bhd being an exclusive Hyundai N dealer.
To celebrate the opening, Heng Lian Enterprise is running a lucky draw (June 26 to July 26, 2026), offering exclusive rewards and promotions.
Customers who complete a test drive will receive one entry into the lucky draw, while customers who make a vehicle booking will receive two additional entries.
The grand prize is a Samsung Galaxy S26 and consolation prizes include a Hamel tint package, dashcam, Hyundai umbrellas and other exclusive rewards.
Meanwhile, myHyundaiCare aftersales offers include RM100 Shell engine oil vouchers, free 20-point vehicle wellness check for all Hyundai models including free 12V battery health and tyre inspections, fixed labour rate of RM50 for servicing, RM20 selected local café voucher with a minimum service invoice of RM400, and free body kit for the first 10 existing Starex 2020 onwards owners.
