Hyundai Motor aims to sell 4.24 million vehicles globally in 2024

SEOUL: Hyundai Motor Coannounced today it has set its 2024 global sales target at 4.24 million vehicles, a drop oof about 2% from its 2023 target of 4.32 million vehicles.
The target is inclusive of its Genesis luxury brand
The company said it would would optimise its product portfolio and vehicle supply management for each region, targeting the sale of 3.54 million units in overseas markets and 704,000 units in Korea.
Hyundai plans to take lead in electrification and focus on optimising profitability by strengthening its global electric vehicle (EV) production infrastructure, establishing flexible business strategies to adapt to market changes, and reinforcing preemptive risk management capabilities.
It achieved total global sales of 4,21 million vehicles in 2023, marking a 6.9 percent increase compared with its 2022 performance.
