KUALA LUMPUR: Hyundai Motor Malaysia (HMY) signals its competitive edge with the preview of its most affordable multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) to date.
Revealed at the ongoing Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show (KLIMS) 2026, the Stargazer is estimated to be priced from RM99,000 onwards.
Sporting Hyundai's signature full-width 'H' LED light bar at the rear the completely built-up (CBU) Stargazer will be available in three variant upon its late-2026 launch: Style, Prime and X - respectively estimated to be priced at RM99,000, RM109,000 and RM121,000.
The Style and Prime are seven-seaters while the X is a six-seater. Depending on the variant your three-row cabin will be highlighted by a digital display up to 10.25 inches, wireless device charging pad, and the likes of integrated seat-back tables.
The more sports utility vehicle (SUV)-inspired X variant is equipped with sporty bumpers, a rear sporty spoiler, overfenders and blacked-out branding.
As for wheels the Style has 16-inch alloys while the Prime has 17-inch diamond cut alloys while the X are in 17-inch black gloss alloys.
Regardless, all of them are powered by a 1.5-litre inline 4-cylinder Smartstream engine, an Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT), the Hyundai SmartSense ADAS suite, and assistance features like Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go.
It has a maximum power of 115PS at 6,300rpm and 143Nm of maximum torque at 4,500rpm.
The model will also arrive backed by a segment-shaking 8-Year/160,000km warranty.

The model delivers superiority across safety, technology, and convenience for every single member of the family,' she added.
The Stargazer is now open for booking. Colours they are available in are Titan Gray Metallic, Creamy White Pearl, Midnight Black Pearl or Gravity Gold Matte.
