BRUSSELS: The new Hyundai Staria Electric MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) features an 84kWh battery, a 160kW electric motor driving the front wheels, and a WLTP range of up to 400km.
With DC fast-charging, the Staria Electric can recharge from 10 to 80 percent in 20 minutes.
For everyday charging at home or work, an 11 kW AC onboard charger is available.
With a towing capacity of up to 2,000kg (braked), the Staria Electric is well suited for trailers, boats and leisure equipment.
In the cabin, dual 12.3-inch digital displays combine the instrument cluster and infotainment system, presenting key information clearly and intuitively.

"The Staria Electric brings our EV (electric vehicle) expertise to a vehicle that many customers already know and trust, combining Staria’s impressive space and flexibility with a new, fast-charging, high-voltage system and updated interior to deliver practical, efficient electric mobility for real-world use across Europe,” said Hyundai Motor Europe president and CEO Xavier Martinet.
Its flat floor, wide interior dimensions and intelligently arranged seating create a lounge like atmosphere.
The long body, low beltline and expansive glazing deliver outstanding visibility and exceptional spatial comfort.
The Staria Electric carries the Staria design language into the electric era based on Hyundai’s “Inside-Out” approach, which extends the spatiality and openness of interior design to the exterior, creating an exterior image that stands out with high-tech sensibility.

The signature one-curve silhouette, low beltline and expansive glass surfaces create a distinctive appearance.
