KUALA LUMPUR: Local assembly operations for the iCaur 03 RWD (rear-wheel drive) have started.
The iCaur 03 RWD maintains its introductory price at RM119,740 on-the-road, without insurance.
This follows the successful local assembly launch of the all-wheel-drive iCaur 03 iWD variant earlier in May 2026, completing the locally assembled lineup for the iCaur 03 model.
Production officially began in September 2026, with first-batch deliveries scheduled to reach customers in October 2026.
Local assembly units are currently available in limited supply.
The locally assembled variant retains the identical specifications, features, and performance as the imported version.
The iCaur 03 RWD has a single rear motor setup, and offers 135kW (184PS) and peak torque of 220Nm.
It features five selectable driving modes tailored for diverse driving conditions.
There is a 65.7kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, delivering a driving range of up to 426km (NEDC).
It supports up to 80kW DC fast charging and 6.6 kW AC charging.
The iCaur 03 continues to stand out in the EV (electric vehicle) landscape with its signature Boxy Retro Classic styling.
