KUALA LUMPUR: iCaur Malaysia is enhancing warranty coverage for all 2026 registered units.
The upgraded coverage extends the power battery, drive unit, and high-voltage components warranty to 10 years/200,000km, alongside a seven-year vehicle warranty.
All previous comprehensive warranty protections remain intact.
The enhanced coverage is designed to give iCaur owners added reassurance, particularly around battery durability, drive system reliability, and the cost of critical high-voltage components.
Meanwhile, there are over 3,000 registered iCaur electric vehicles (EVs) on the road in Malaysia, marking a major milestone for the marque in less than a year after its debut.
iCaur Malaysia said it has emerged as one of the top three EV brands in Malaysia.
The iCaur V23 was the most popular non-national EV in May 2026.
The V23 is Malaysia’s first fully electric off-road capable SUV (sport utility vehicle) in the C-segment.
iCaur Malaysia said Malaysian car buyers had responded strongly to iCaur’s distinctive Boxy Retro Classic design language, seen in models such as the iCaur 03 and V23.
“Malaysia’s overwhelming response to iCaur has been clear: drivers are looking for EVs with character, capability, and confidence built in,” said iCaur Malaysia senior director Francis Chin.
“They have embraced our unique design, our technology, and our vision for electric mobility. In return, we are investing deeper into the ownership journey through stronger warranty protection, a growing nationwide network, and trusted dealership partners who will support our customers for the long term,” he added.
iCaur is expanding its presence in Malaysia through strategic dealership partnerships.
In May 2026, the brand opened its first boutique showroom at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, operated by Rover Drive Sdn Bhd, introducing its EV line-up to a premium retail setting.
Also in May 2026, iCaur launched its 15th full-fledged showroom in Seremban, operated by NexV Synergy Sdn Bhd.
Currently, iCaur has 21 sales points in operation across Malaysia and is on track to grow this to 30 by end-2026.
