iCaur V23 wins Red Dot Award

KUALA LUMPUR: The iCaur V23, an all-electric boxy SUV (sport utility vehicle), has won the Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2026 in Germany.

Earning this internationally prestigious honour — often referred to as the "Oscar of Design" — is not only a recognition of iCaur's design capabilities, but also a testament to the enduring vitality of classic aesthetics in the era of electrification.

The Red Dot Award: Design Concept is known for its rigorous judging criteria.

Unlike product category selections, concept awards require the jury to look beyond design quality and delve deeper into the creative thinking behind each project.

This year's jury was particularly impressed by the high level of innovation and the thoughtful design approach demonstrated by the iCaur V23.

At the heart of this recognition lies V23's reinterpretation of classic DNA through the lens of new energy technology and aesthetics.

From a design language perspective, the V23 is built around its signature boxy silhouette.

With a width of 1.9 meters, a height of 1.84 meters, a nearly 1:1 width to height ratio, a long wheelbase of 2,735 mm, and 21-inch oversized wheels, the vehicle presents a commanding presence that belies its class.

In detail, round headlights preserve the classic identity of hardcore off-roaders, while a transparent radar cover and pixel style high-mounted stop lights inject a distinctly tech forward feel.

The modular "backpack" at the rear retains functionality while adding a playful, technology inspired touch unique to the new energy era.

With over 20 reserved modification interfaces, the V23 offers virtually limitless possibilities for personalisation.

Meanwhile, as football festivities unfold, iCaur has launched its "iCaur Turun Padang" football activation campaign from June 18 – July 19.

Customers can take a closer look at the award-winning V23 at the iCaur showroom and take it for a test-drive, as well as stand a chance to win exciting prizes.
